Our Wedding Party & Family
We are lucky to be surrounded by an incredible group of friends and family who have been part of our lives through every chapter. Our wedding party is made up of the people who have supported, encouraged, and laughed with us along the way. They have shared in our milestones, cheered us on, and continue to be an important part of our journey. We couldn’t imagine this day without them by our sides!.

Tara & Will
Bride & Groom
We are so excited to get married. After reconnecting in early 2024—our third time crossing paths—we instantly knew we had found our person in each other. Now, we share our lives between Newport, RI, and Oak Island, NC, with our dogs, Theodore and Riley. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
Bill & Betsy
Parents of the Groom
Bill and Betsy have been happily married for nearly 50 years. Retired, they call Oak Island, North Carolina, home, where they enjoy the coastal life and spending time with their children—Will & Kate—and dog Dennis. They couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Will and Tara’s wedding, welcome Tara into the family, and share this special moment with loved ones!

Jennifer & Stephen
Mother of the Bride
Jennifer has always encouraged Tara to chase her dreams, embrace independence, and trust that the right love would come at the right time—no matter how long it took. Seeing Tara and Will together after all these years fills her heart with joy, especially knowing that Will was present when she married Steve 20 years ago. Their families have been connected for decades, with Betsy even part of Jen’s baby shower when Emma was born 18 years ago. Jen and Steve live in New England, where they are passionate beekeepers and run their own honey business, Hudson Hives. They couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this long-awaited love story and welcome Will officially into the family!
Michael
Father of the Bride
Michael, a retired Firefighter living in New England, has had the joy of joining Tara on some of her adventures around the world, watching her embrace new experiences and chase her dreams. Now, he’s honored to stand by her as she embarks on this next great adventure with Will and gain a son-in-law.

Emma
Sister of the Bride, Maid of Honor & Reader
Emma, a college freshman at LSU studying Architecture, has always looked up to her sister Tara as both a role model and a best friend. She’s beyond excited to see her find a love that was always meant to be. She couldn’t be happier to celebrate Tara and Will on their wedding day!
Kate
Sister of the Groom & Reader
As Will’s younger sister, Kate has been part of Tara and Will’s story from the very beginning. From time together in Lambertville, NJ to family moments in Oak Island, North Carolina, to her college years in Boston at Tufts while Will and Tara were also in school, Kate has been woven into countless meaningful chapters of their journey. It feels only natural for her to stand by their side on this special day. Kate will share a heartfelt reading during the ceremony, a reflection of the deep bond she holds with both Tara and Will.

Jason
The Best Man
Jason has been Will’s best friend since childhood, sharing countless memories from their high school days being football teammates, and later roommates in their 20's. He’s had a front-row seat to Will’s life for decades and has known Tara since their early 20s, when she and Will first started dating. Jason is honored to stand by Will’s side as his best man and couldn’t be happier to celebrate this long-awaited union!
Kelley
Our Wedding Officiant
Kelley has been a dear friend of Tara’s since their teens, when they first bonded over the high school swim team and their summers as lifeguards. Though they attended different high schools, their friendship remained a constant through the years into college. Kelley was also there the night Tara met her future husband, Will as Kelley and her husband Dante set them up on a blind date for the Harvard freshman formal. It is only fitting, then, that Kelley, along with Dante, will stand beside Tara and Will on their wedding day, with Kelley guiding them into this next chapter of their lives together as their officiant.
